Club Tournaments
Santa Anita Bowling Green Club has three club tournaments: Floy Torvid and Bowler of the Month that are held throughout the year, Ray Casey tournament and the City of Hope tournament in the spring.

The Floy Torvid Tournament is held once a month. Each tournament consists of two games. The type of game played at each tournament is different. The types include Singles, Doubles Triples, Aussie Pairs, Rinks and Guys and Dolls. All the teams are determined by draw.

The Bowler of the Month Tournament consists of four games, one played each week of the month. The winners of the tournament are determined by selecting the best three games for each player. The teams are determined by draw each week.

The Ray Casey tournament is played once a month for seven months. The type of game (triples, doubles, etc.) is changed for each tournament. The first tournament was played on October 20th.The teams are selected by draw for each tournament.

The City of Hope Tournament is a fun day of bowling and lunch. SWD clubs are always great supporters of this event. Everybody has a great time since it is for a good cause. All proceeds from the tournament are given to the City of Hope. One game is played in the morning and one is played after lunch. The first place winners from each green are awarded a plaque. No prize money is given to maximize the amount given to the City of Hope.
