CHERI CABOT

PRESIDENT: Cheri Cabot

Cheri Cabot was elected to be the 2011 president. Cheri is one of the newer members of our club. Her enthusiasm and outgoing personality will be great assests in making her an outstanding president .

FIRST VP: Steve Dowd

Steve will continue to be the First VP for 2011. He is always available to assist the president and stand in for the prsident when required.

MEMBERSHIP: Gene Plunkett

"I'd recommend this sport to others because it is low impact. It gets you moving, out of the house, and is an overall great sport.

"I'm still waiting for the "Big Win." Teaching is a great joy when your students stay with lawn bowling and do well. I've been bowling for nine years and in all that time I have not had a bad experience. There have been a few people who didn't thrill me, but those kinds don't last around the positive bowlers. I've enjoyed it all."

TREASURER: Bob Hauerwaas

Shuman Chan has requested to be relieved of the Club treasurer function. The Club president, Cheri Cabot, asked Bob to take over the Club treasurer function since he filled in for Shuman several times when Shuman was not available for extended periods.

Gayle Plunkett

SECOND VP: Gayle Plunkett

Gayle joined the club relunctantly after several years of encouragement from her husband Gene. She impressed everyone both on and off the green with her cheerful approach to the game and remarkable organizational abilities. Gayle has contributed enormously to the smooth running of the club, organizing the kitchen and crew, and overseeing the running of the City of Hope Tournament in 2006.
